Corona Virus – COVID 19

Every year Race Around Ireland has gone from strength to strength, and is now recognised as one of the toughest cycling endurance events in the world. 2020 would have been the 12th year of Race Around Ireland, which unfortunately due to Covid 19 had to be cancelled.

We have spent the last number of weeks contemplating how best to proceed with the RAI 2021. We have spoken to some racers, crew members and our own team, and looked at the situation with the Global Pandemic.
We realise it requires a lot of dedication and time for everyone to prepare for such an epic challenge, not only with training, but also with the logistics required. We have taken the very tough decision to cancel the race once again in 2021.

The good news is with vaccinations rolling out, we have great confidence that the event will go ahead in 2022.

We have a few ideas in the pipeline to keep us all motivated this year and we will let you know about these in the coming weeks.

Stay safe during this difficult time, and we look forward to seeing you at RAI in the future.
